Current Fundraiser
Right now Pictures for Pit Bulls is focusing on one small project -- raising money for treats  (bully sticks) and towels for the dogs at the Hartford Dog Pound.
We will be ordering 100 count 6" bully sticks from Value Pet Supplies, and we will be buying cheap towels from a local K-mart (approximately $20-$30).
About the Hartford Dog Pound
The Hartford Animal Control holds dogs in the pound for 10 days. If the dog isn't claimed or adopted, the dogs are euthanized.
A dog's last days shouldn't be spent lying on a concrete floor; even if we can give them a towel and a treat, that would be better than nothing.
But what to pit bulls have to do with the Hartford Dog Pound? At any given moment, pit bulls make up AT LEAST half the pound population. Please visit the website to take a look at the dogs listed for adoption.
